Manifest

Corsair is a trio based in Minnesota. Their blend of progressive metalcore with melodic death metal tells a cinematic tale of a pirate crew journeying across the high seas.  The adventure began in 2019 with the unleashing of chaos upon the world in “Content with the Chaos” and continued in 2020 with the band’s second full-length album “Horizons.”  

The third installment of the pirate trilogy was released on January 26th, 2024. "The Golden Heart" explores the internal and external struggle of the pirate captain, marooned in the dark jungle following a misguided mutiny, seeking after a precious treasure guarded by terrifying phantoms. Listen as the story unfolds to discover the captain's fate.

Corsair seeks to bring a sense of adventure to those dull times in life through concept albums and an exciting stage show that invites listeners to join the crew and partake in the epic journey of imagination. All the albums are a single interwoven story that requires deep dives into the lyrics and arrangements to fully grasp.  Corsair's live performances are a full on bright, fierce, sonic assault of the senses; an experience like none other.
